Your new companyAn established Charity, with a very healthy turnover of circa £15million, that provides immeasurable support to the local community across multiple sites.They offer WFH Flexibility, a very generous holiday allowance and subsidised meals.Your new roleReporting to the Finance Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the Finance Team of 4 and preparing Management & Financial Accounts for the group on Sage 200.A summary of the duties includes:

  • Responsible for producing the group management accounts & detailed income generation
  • Maintaining the accounts systems on Sage 200
  • Preparations of quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparation of the accounts for the external auditors
  • Overseeing the bank accounts
  • Processing monthly payroll
  • Assisting non-finance colleagues with purchase orders and stocktakes

What you'll need to succeed

  • Fully Qualified Accountant - or Finalist
  • Proven experience of preparing Management & Financial Accounts - good VAT knowledge
  • Charity background is a bonus, but they very much welcome applicants who are interested and passionate about working in the Charity Sector and want to support their local community.
  • Team Leadership/Management experience
  • Experience of using Sage software systems - preferable Sage 200 & strong excel skills
  • Have access to your own transport
