HR Manager - Kent - up to £45,000pa (DOE) - Full time in office - Start ASAP Our client, a prominent manufacturing company, is seeking a dedicated HR Manager to join their UK office in Canterbury. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity to make a significant impact by enhancing the HR function within the organisation. If you are passionate about fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace, we want to hear from you!Role and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business leaders and line management, providing expert advice on a variety of People solutions, including appraisals and performance management.
  • Oversee the recruitment process from start to finish, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Develop and update HR policies to support broader business objectives.
  • Champion continuous improvement in Diversity & Inclusion, risk management, and safeguarding practices.
  • Lead employee relations cases as necessary.
  • Effectively manage, coach, and develop a dynamic HR team.
  • Analyse data from HR systems to produce regular reports that inform future HR strategies.
  • Continuously evaluate Employee Reward and Wellbeing programs to maximize their benefit to the workforce.
  • Commit to cultivating a strong, positive, and inclusive culture across teams in line with the company’s vision.
Skills & Experience Required:
  • Experience in the manufacturing or similar industry is highly desirable.
  • CIPD or other relevant HR qualification.
  • Previous experience in an HR Manager or senior leadership role.
  • Strategic HR experience with a proven ability to diagnose where HR can add value to the business.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to persuade and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A committed line manager, passionate about team development.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of extracting and interpreting crucial data for reporting.
