Mechanical Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to plan, organise, and oversee mechanical projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high standards. You will be responsible for managing multiple projects at once, with values ranging from £1 million to £10 million. A valid UK driving licence is required due to the job location.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm
  • Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Main Duties:

  • Supervise and control mechanical projects to ensure they are finished promptly and within budget.
  • Create detailed work plans and ensure all mechanical tasks are carried out without delays.
  • Assess and handle changes to project costs, keeping financial performance on track.
  • Ensure all work complies with contracts, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with on-site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep projects progressing smoothly.
  • Maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, advisors, and other parties involved.

Essential Requirements:

  • Significant experience in the building services industry is highly preferred.
  • Ability to manage several projects at the same time with accuracy and efficiency.
  • In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, such as heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing.
  • Strong skills in managing budgets and assessing cost changes.
  • Excellent leadership, planning, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • Must have a full UK driving licence.
