Your new companyI'm working with a dynamic and expanding organisation based near Canterbury, Kent. My client is dedicated to providing outstanding services and is committed to supporting the growth and development of the organisation.Your new roleAs the Payroll Administrator, you will provide comprehensive payroll support to staff and senior management. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with payroll administration, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries and other payments.
  • Maintaining accurate staff contracts and salary records.
  • Acting as the main contact for payroll and pension queries, offering support to staff members across the trust.
  • Ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements.
  • Supporting the administration processes related to pension schemes.
  • Reconciling and processing monthly and annual pension scheme returns.
  • Supporting year-end audit requirements.
  • Managing the payroll system and assisting with any developmental changes required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working within a payroll setting or something similar
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Competent and effective user of IT, including Excel and Word.
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and legislative requirements.
  • The ability to manage time effectively and complete tasks to a high standard.
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing demands of the post.
  • Attention to detail and an analytical mind.
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
