Tradewind Recruitment are actively recruiting for a daily supply teacher in the Canterbury area to work in a range of secondary school settings. The role will be flexible and would suit full time or part time hours - daily rate of between £110 and £130!
The role of a daily supply teacher:
- Deliver engaging pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups
- Maintain classroom behaviour and ensure a safe learning environment
- Ensure students are on task and have all equipment needed to complete their work effectively
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or previous experience of working with secondary school students
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to different teaching environments and challenges
- Confident in managing classroom behaviour in line with the school behaviour policy
- Be available between 8:15am and 3:30pm on the day's you're available for work
- Hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
