Quality Auditor

Would you like to work for a leading manufacturing company who are constantly evolving? This is a business that is committed to sustainability and environmental responsibility and due to rapid growth, they are partnering with me exclusively in recruiting a Quality Auditor.

Within this role you will be responsible for auditing all departments within the production facility ensuring compliance with documented procedures, industry standards, and best practices. This role is critical in maintaining and improving the quality of products and processes.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Conduct regular audits on products, processes, and systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ISO 9001 accreditation.
  • Document and review quality checks performed by both operators and independent audits.
  • Identify non-conformities, root causes, and areas for improvement while working with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings, recommendations, and follow-up actions.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure continuous compliance.
  • Support and train employees in quality assurance processes, best practices, and adherence to work instructions.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement through Kaizen events, waste reduction initiatives, and quality control techniques.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive efficiency and process improvements.

Skills, experience and qualifications required

  • Previous experience in a quality auditing role will be a distinct advantage.
  • Experience of 8 wastes, Kaizen events etc.
  • The ability to work independently with interpersonal skills will be required.
