My client is a reputable accountancy firm with a strong track record of providing comprehensive financial services to a diverse range of clients. Â Their team is committed to excellence, and they pride themselves on delivering tailored solutions that empower businesses to thrive.
As an Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in the team. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparation and Completion of Statutory Accounts:
Working with sole traders, partnerships, and companies, you'll prepare and complete statutory accounts. You'll use incomplete records and accounting software to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Business Tax Computations:
Calculating business tax liabilities accurately and efficiently is a key part of this role. You'll analyse financial data and apply relevant tax rules to provide reliable computations.
- Corporation Tax Returns:
Filing corporation tax returns is essential. You'll handle the entire process, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with regulations.
- Personal Tax Returns:
Managing personal tax returns for our clients is another critical aspect. You'll assist individuals in meeting their tax obligations while maximizing benefits.
To excel in this role, you should meet the following criteria:
- Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience:
You have relevant qualifications or substantial experience in accounting. We value both formal education and practical expertise.
- Practice Experience:
Previous work in an accountancy practice is essential. Familiarity with industry standards and best practices is a must.
- Client-Facing Skills:
As a Semi-Senior Accountant, you'll interact with clients regularly. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are vital.
- Experience with Iris:
While not mandatory, experience using Iris accounting software is desirable. If you're familiar with Iris, it's a definite plus.
