Responsibilities and Duties

As a Director, your main focus on providing quality tax advice within the deals space working hand in hand with both the Corporate Tax and the Corporate Finance teams.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Identify and assess potential tax risks, provide guidance on necessary tax warranties and indemnities, and evaluate the tax implications of sale and purchase agreements.
  • Organize, execute, and present tax due diligence assessments for target companies and vendor due diligence projects.
  • Conduct pre-sale evaluations of the tax aspects of businesses with sales mandates.
  • Possess a strong grasp of corporate and group restructurings and effectively communicate these concepts to clients in a straightforward and clear manner.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a chartered accountant or tax advisor qualification (ACA, CA CTA, ADIT or equivalent).

Additional requirements include:

  • Possess extensive experience in UK corporation tax, capital tax, and employment tax within a transactional setting.
  • Capable of grasping the overall context while paying attention to detailed aspects.
  • Skilled at identifying risks and issues that could impact pricing.
  • Client-oriented, prioritizing quality and precision in your work.
