Product Fire Testing Technician
What an exciting opportunity to join a global company based in the Cardiff area. You will be fire testing products for the commercial, manufacturing, marine and the industrial industries.
Our client is in search of
- 3 Product Fire Testing Technicians
Salary is highly competitive and hours are 8.00am to 5pm Monday to Friday with 1 hour for lunch.
- Performing fire resistance tests on various products, in accordance with relevant BS, EN and ISO Standards using a variety of fire testing processes within a fully equiped and safe environment
- Monitoring fire tests and associated software, reporting any errors or malqfunctions to the Manager.
- Using equipment to complete tasks, such as measuring, analysis and recording of data (this role is pivotal to the success of the fire testing procedure).
- Recording accurately the precise calibrations, readings, actions and output of the equipment, and manage the documentation required to ensure the calibration activities are carried out correctly.
Requirements
- Ideally have previous experience such as a fireman, joinery, carpentry, fire alarms or similar
- If you have had experience within a quality deparment this would be advantageous
- Strong communicator, both written and verbally, with excellent attention to detail.
