Account Manager

We are seeking an Account Manager who is dedicated to fostering long-term relationships with clients and is committed to a team-first mentality. This role is ideal for someone who excels in a supportive and collaborative environment and approaches account management with a proactive and consultative style, focusing on solving problems and building trust.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Engage actively in maintaining and expanding client relationships through strategic account management and excellent communication.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to create and implement strategies that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Participate in networking and industry events to maintain a strong presence and understanding of market trends that can be translated into opportunities.
  • Manage and nurture the portfolio of strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with the clients' needs and long-term partnership goals.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing consistent support and guidance on the services and solutions that best meet their needs.
  • Coordinate with various teams including legal, finance, and operations to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of Credit and Risk Management to enhance service alignment and client engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions, reporting regularly to management on account progress.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management, particularly in settings that require a consultative approach to maintaining and expanding client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of sales and commercial processes within the account receivables and collections environment.
  • Knowledgeable in Credit and Risk Management, with the ability to leverage this understanding to benefit client interactions.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the capability to manage multiple accounts efficiently.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at building relationships and engaging with clients at all levels.
  • Resilient and adaptable, able to thrive in a dynamic environment and respond proactively to challenges.
  • Team-oriented, with a proven track record of working effectively with diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Fluent in English; additional language skills are advantageous.
