This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a high level of knowledge and understanding of domestic, commercial, and industrial electrical installations. This role is not just available to candidates who possess previous experience in lecturing, teaching or assessing, if you are ready to take a step back from site and put down the tools, this is the opportunity for you.


Responsibilities include:
  • Undertaking of all educational work such as classroom teaching (which includes workshop etc.), tutorial work associated with outreach, residential and open and distance learning courses and student placements;
  • Undertaking all organisational and administrative work associated with the above, preparation and marking;
  • Undertaking appropriate student welfare and academic or non-academic counselling responsibilities;
  • Undertaking appropriate student welfare and academic or non-academic counselling responsibilities;
  • An involvement in marketing, i.e. identification of consumer requirements, planning, development and evaluation of courses and course materials, publicity and public relations;
  • Assist in monitoring and tracking of student progress and entitlement to learning support provision;
  • Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
