Workshop Manager required for a well-established welding and fabrication company based in Cardiff. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to manage the day-to-day manufacturing and fabrication operations.
Workshop Manager Job Overview
- Overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop
- Delivering high quality and consistent fabrication projects in accordance to customer requirements and quality standards
- Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed
- Ensuring workshop equipment in maintained
Workshop Manager Job Requirements
- Proven background within a Workshop / Fabrication supervisory or management role
- Based in a commutable distance of Cardiff
- NVQ, apprenticeship or similar qualifications within engineering / manufacturing
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Experience in the welding & fabrication industry is a distinct advantage
- Good communication skills
Workshop Manager Salary & Benefits
- Starting salary 35,000 - 50,000 depending on experience
- Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 14:00. Full-time, permanent position.
