Role & Responsibilities of the Behavioural Teaching Assistant:

  • Provide one-to-one support for students with emotional and behavioral difficulties, helping them engage in learning and thrive in the classroom.
  • Assist the class teacher in managing classroom behavior and ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Implement strategies to help students regulate their emotions and behavior, supporting them to develop coping mechanisms.
  • Work closely with the school's pastoral team to monitor student progress and well-being.
  • Foster a supportive, encouraging atmosphere that builds students' confidence and helps them achieve their full potential.

Requirements for this Behavioural Teaching Assistant Role:

  • A DBS Check - Can be provided through us.
  • EWC registration - Can be provided through us.
  • Experience of working with secondary age children.
