Job Description:Are you a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer with commercial maintenanceexperience? Are you looking for a company to offer up skilling and training?They are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer who has experience workingwithin commercial environments carrying out all areas of Electricalmaintenance and minor remedial tasks in CardiffPackage includes:

Salary - £39,876

25 days + 8 holiday

Requirements / Qualifications:Qualification in either of these are preferred but not essential and clients will look at someone who has time served experience.

NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3
NVQ Level 3 Electrotechnical Technology (the main one that includes AM2, ECS, Gold Card, C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection) = ideal qualification
City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installations
City & Guilds 2391 Testing and Inspection
The 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671:2018, wiring regs, the regs) - 17th edition is the slightly older/out of date version but is still accepted by some clients
PAT testing

Day to Day Duties:

Lighting- Change of lamps and ballasts
Emergency light testing
Power distribution
Electrical fault-finding
Small works - new sockets, new lights, new circuits
PAT Testing
Control Panel maintenance
Transformers
Star Delta Starters
