Senior Software Engineer | Cardiff two days a week | 65-75k

I'm working with an amazing client, who have assembled a high-performing team of engineers who love collaborating and exploring new technologies. They're now looking for Senior Engineers with a similar mindset, who want to play a part in their next period of growth.
They're currently expanding into an exciting new market and are therefore building an entire new team (there are already two full teams of engineers in the business)! They're now hiring two Senior Engineers, and they want to find people who are curious about new technologies & love working across the full software lifecycle, so you'll get involved in DevOps, QA, Data & Product!
They use a core of TypeScript in their tech stack (Node.js, React & AWS), however they're open to applications from engineers who have backgrounds in other languages, as long as they love solving problems and are curious about learning new things.
Their culture is one that is respectful & collaborative, with frequent pair-programming & inclusive retros. Plus, the engineers in the team are amazing, so the idea-sharing on offer will be second to none (I've had fantastic feedback from all of the engineers that I have placed in this team!).

What you'll need
- Experience in a full stack capacity, ideally with a core understanding of TypeScript (a background in other languages will absolutely be considered if someone is curious about new technologies & tools)
- An interest in working on complex engineering problems
- Exposure to working with DevOps, TDD or Data (or an interest in exploring these areas as part of your day-to-day role)
- Happy to visit the office in Cardiff twice a week on average - they have an amazing culture of supportive engineers & they feel this collaboration has been crucial in what they've achieved
- A desire to develop your skills further & always be learning about new tools & tech!
- The ability to set an example within the team and drive the high standards that they keep
