Senior FP&A Analyst | PE backed Tech business | JRROC31861 | Cardiff | FTC

A high-growth and extremely acquisitive, Private Equity-backed Technology business is looking to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst on a maternity cover contract. This is an opportunity to work for a fast-paced, innovative business that has shown strong revenue growth over the past 5 years both through acquisition and organically.

You will be reporting to the Finance Director for one of the brands and will lead the FP&A function. The role will have extensive exposure to working with senior stakeholders across the business including working with the group head office function.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ownership of management performance reporting for the brand including providing detailed analysis of financial and trade performance
  • Managing the budgeting and forecasting process for the business
  • Partnering with non-finance stakeholders including attending regular face to face meetings to support with commercial decision making and challenging where necessary
  • Implementation of new processes and key financial reports, both through using your own initiative and through listening to the needs of the business
  • Financial modelling to help drive business decisions and better understand key metrics within the business
  • Driving business projects including those relating to new products

Skill set required:

The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with experience working in a commercial finance role. You must be comfortable partnering with non-finance stakeholders and managing the budgeting and forecasting process for a division. Experience working in the Technology industry or for a PE-backed business is beneficial as is experience working for a SME business. A keen sense of initiative, ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders, particularly being able to challenge as well as support non-finance Directors within the business is essential.
