Broker Account Executive

Yolk Recruitment are partnered with a thriving start up company based in Cardiff who are looking for a Broker Account Executive. Are you a motivated individual who is looking for a new challenge, this could be the perfect role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Review and process loan applications ensuring all required documents are accurate and complete.
Prepare loan files for underwriting review in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
Conduct security check calls with applicants, providing excellent customer service.
Liaise with brokers throughout the application process.
Handle inbound and outbound calls from customers and brokers regarding criteria, processes, or specific cases.
Collaborate with internal teams to find solutions for non-standard applications.
Adhere to departmental policies and procedures, meeting all relevant quality assurance targets.
Work with Business Development Managers to identify broker trends and training opportunities.
Foster strong relationships with broker partners to enhance awareness of product offerings and criteria.

Knowledge and Experience Required:

Understanding of the 2nd charge broker market and MCOB rules.
Working knowledge of T&C Scheme, FCA rules, Money Laundering, GDPR, and Data Protection.
Preferable experience within the 2nd charge mortgage market; experience in financial services is acceptable.

Skills and Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills.
Excellent communication abilities.
Team player with a solution-focused mindset.
CeMAP qualification is preferable.
