Description
- Oversee financial operations including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
- Develop and implement effective financial strategies and policies.
- Manage financial risk and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and statements.
- Work closely with other departments to drive financial performance.
- Provide financial insight and analysis to inform business decisions.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Lead, develop and motivate the finance team.
Profile
A successful Finance Director should have:
- A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
- Strong financial and accounting knowledge.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Experience in a similar role within the Leisure, Travel & Tourism industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
