My client is seeking an experienced Childcare and Young Persons Assessor to join their team in Cardiff and South Wales, requiring at least 2 years of relevant experience.
The role involves delivering training programs, conducting assessments, and ensuring high standards are met for Childcare Learners.
Candidates should possess CAVA qualifications or equivalent, ESW Communication Level 2, and ESW Application of Number Level 2, along with strong IT and organizational skills.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 per year, along with 30 days of holiday, a company pension, and various employee benefits.

Due to ongoing growth, my client is looking for an experienced Childcare and Young persons Assessor (Levels 2, 3 & 5) to join their team based in Cardiff and covering South Wales (including Swansea, Ebbw Vale & Mountain Ash). The right candidate must have the ability and experience to deliver to Childcare Learners and have an occupational experience within a childcare environment.

Duties

Delivery of training programmes to assigned learners ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved

Covering a regional area, travelling to visit learners in workplace to undertake assessments

Complete ILP's and map out learning routes for individuals

Reference and mark evidence collated in the workplace for NVQ requirements

Completion of learner attendance records and learners guided contact hours

Contribute to the planning, monitoring and achievement of agreed performance targets

Develop course material to support the delivery requirements

Maintain appropriate records of client achievements and meet performance criteria

Facilitation of tests as per awarding body requirements

Give additional support to trainees when required

Providing a quality learning experience and journey

Supporting learners to achieve qualifications to a quality standard

Key Skills & Experience:

Occupational competencies and experience of delivery in Childcare
Experience of Work Based Learning and Award Body practices
CAVA qualifications or equivalent
ESW Communication Level 2
ESW Application of Number Level 2
Self-motivated & Driven
Flexible with ability to work under pressure
Excellent IT skills
Reliable, Enthusiastic & passionate
Excellent organisational skills
