Iris Care Group, in South Wales is looking for a new Head of Therapies.

We are looking for someone with experience of therapies provision in the area of learning disability and / or mental health. You will be overseeing the professional support, management, supervision and development of teams of AHPs across our three hospital sites, our specialist educational college and our 17 residential sites (with planned development of at least two more residential sites on 2025). You’ll have an allocated base but will need to be mobile across sites, mainly in South Wales but, dependent on commissioning, also in the Bristol area. You will also provide AHP support and guidance to the organisation’s overall clinical governance and clinical ethics processes.

You may already have extensive leadership and management experience or may be looking for development in this area at this stage in your career. What is more important is the desire to champion, develop and support therapies teams, a passion for innovative and inclusive MDT working, a focus on outcomes and patient safety, and a commitment to the involvement of the people we support in service delivery and development.
