General Manager - 6-12 months FTC - Full Time - Cardiff

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector and Not-for-Profit is proud to be working with a large health board whose priority is to ensure the on going health of their patients and people and who require a Theatre Manager on a fixed term basis. This is a role with vital responsibilities and people management requirements and is a huge opportunity for seasoned individuals with experience in public sector and health care.

Key Responsibilities include:

What the General will be doing:-

Effective strategic Operational Management of the Directorate
Lead change in the Clinical Board's quality improvement programme.
Work with colleagues to review and re-design services in order to meet the needs of patients and help achieve key performance indicators and reduce costs.
Undertake line management responsibilities for direct reports, e.g. recruitment, PADR's, sickness absence, staff development, etc.
Travel between sites to carry out the remit of the role.

What the General Manager will bring to the team:-

A recognised Management Qualification
A record of successful management of change in a complex organisation
Masters Degree in a relevant discipline or a demonstrable ability to work at Masters Level
Well developed leadership and motivational skills.

Benefits:

£75,404 salary (pro-rata)
