The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in delivering apprenticeship level material previously and relevant teaching qualifications and experience to match this.
Responsibilities include:
- Undertaking of all educational work such as classroom teaching (which includes workshop etc.), tutorial work associated with outreach, residential and open and distance learning courses and student placements;
- Undertaking all organisational and administrative work associated with the above, preparation and marking;
- Undertaking appropriate student welfare and academic or non-academic counselling responsibilities;
- Undertaking appropriate student welfare and academic or non-academic counselling responsibilities;
- An involvement in marketing, i.e. identification of consumer requirements, planning, development and evaluation of courses and course materials, publicity and public relations;
- Assist in monitoring and tracking of student progress and entitlement to learning support provision;
- Welsh language skills are not essential but would be desirable for this role.
- Requirements for this role are at least a Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation, a recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one, an Assessor Award and a Verifier Award or a willingness to work towards them and proven experience in the field of Electrical Installation.
