Hoop Professional Services & HR are thrilled to be working alongside one of our valued clients who are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join their successful HR function in the Cardiff area, on a permanent basis.This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside an experienced HR team and play a vital role as front-line support, whilst getting involved in projects and working closely with HR Business Partners. The role offers a salary of up to £34,000 per annum (depending on experience), with additional benefits including hybrid and flexible working.Key duties include but not limited to:
  • Advising managers on policies, procedures, and employment legislation
  • Acting as the first point of contact for managers and employees
  • Supporting with disciplinary cases, grievances, consultations, etc.
  • Collaborating with compliance to ensure all requirements are met
  • Assisting with absence management, sickness reporting, and wellbeing checks
  • Supporting the HR Administrator to maintain an accurate process for employment changes
  • Overseeing payroll-related changes and ensuring all actions are completed
  • Creating monthly, quarterly, and annual HR management reports
  • Assisting in driving culture change projects and supporting organisational change
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data protection regulations
  • Occasional travel to different sites across Wales
To succeed in this role, you will have experience working in a busy HR environment with exposure to employee relations and HR best practice. You will need to be resilient, highly organised, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
