Hoop Professional Services & HR are excited to be partnering with a highly esteemed organisation to recruit a People & OD Partner, based in Cardiff on a part-time and 12-month contract basis.As the People & OD Partner, you will be responsible for collaborating with senior leaders to implement strategic workforce initiatives, optimise people management practices, and lead key organisational development projects. You will work closely with directors and senior managers, providing expert guidance to ensure the effective development and execution of the organisation’s people strategy.This role offers an excellent opportunity to balance work and personal life with part-time hours (22.5 hours per week) and hybrid, flexible working arrangements. With a competitive salary of £51,000 - £57,000 (pro rata), you’ll have the chance to make a significant impact by playing a pivotal role in shaping the people strategy of a highly regarded organisation. Additionally, you’ll be part of a collaborative and supportive senior leadership team, where your ideas and innovations will be valued and encouraged, making this a truly fulfilling opportunity for professional growth.Key Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
  • Collaborate with directors and senior managers to develop and optimise the organisation’s people strategy.
  • Lead the implementation of workforce plans, ensuring alignment with the overarching people strategy and business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice on complex Employee Relations (ER) matters, ensuring best practice is followed.
  • Support senior leaders in enhancing their people management capabilities, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Lead and support organisational development initiatives, driving effective change management processes.
  • Analyse workforce data and trends to inform strategic people initiatives and continuous improvements.
  • Promote Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) initiatives, ensuring these are embedded into organisational practices.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leaders and union representatives.
