My client, a Cardiff based charity, is looking for an experienced IT Manager, for a 6 month contract, starting before the end of November. They are looking for someone with a strong technical support background who has stepped up to managing a small team of Helpdesk/1st & 2nd Line Engineers. This role could also suit an experienced Infrastructure Manager.

My client uses industry standard technologies primarily based around Microsoft laptop/desktop/server software, Hyper-V, O365, some SharePoint & Teams, MDM, Draytek, VPN plus a few others. Strong technical knowledge of most of these will be required along with the ability to learn about the intricacies of their system.

This is a hybrid role with the expectation of someone being onsite, on average, 2-3 days a week though some weeks it may be less and some weeks it may be more. Whilst the main office is based in Cardiff there may be some very occasional travel to sites which could be based anywhere between Pembroke to Nottingham.

Interviews are likely to happen week commencing 18th November and will take place via Teams, speaking with the IT Director and Finance Director. We are ideally looking at a November start date so please ensure that you can be available almost immediately.

For additional information please forward your CV, in the first instance, to Stephen Harris at Tailwind Information Technology. Please ensure that you extensively demonstrate both your technical expertise along with you team lead credentials.
