Description:Our client, a world leading electronical manufacturer company based in Cardiff are recruiting for IT Support for their busy IT office on a temporary basis.

About you:

Knowledge and skills:

  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues across the entire Infrastructure services
  • Ensuring security and upgrades are applied to desktops and laptops and kept up to date
  • Reporting / identifying faults and maintaining logs on servers, desktops and laptops
  • DNS / Email technologies / web hosting principles
  • Ensuring licensing for all software purchased is recorded and maintained.
  • Providing support for MAC / PCs.
  • Network Maintenance, monitoring & fault localization.
  • Fault diagnosis and resolution planning (costs/downtime/implications etc.)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service Desk
  • Management and support of all IT related services of the Data Centre and associated network connectivity
  • Ensuring the required levels of security & regulatory compliance are maintained.
  • Supplying and installation of hardware, software deployment and distribution.

Hours of Work:Available shifts Monday to Friday:

  • Day Shift: Monday – Thursday 07:45-16:30 and Friday 07:45-13:30
