TSR Legal are delighted to be working in partnership with a leading national firm who are seeking a Associate / Legal Director to join the construction department on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is a leading national law firm that offer a wide range of legal expertise. They have multiple offices and attract clients from across the country. Many of their lawyers are trained at the practice, with others joining from prestigious firms. Priding themselves on the professional approach, they deliver excellence as a standard.

This is an exciting opportunity for a solicitor with five or more years of experience in construction matters with a focus on development projects to join this highly regarded firm. The successful candidate will join a professional, supportive team and will be managing a varied caseload and will support the growth of the department, focusing on building strong working relationships with clients.

Responsibilities will include:

• Lead Legal Advice: Provide expert guidance on all construction-related matters, from construction contracts to dispute resolution and public procurement.• Collaborate: Work closely with our Real Estate partners on development projects, offering strategic insights and legal support.• Client Relationships: Build and sustain strong, commercially valuable relationships with clients, offering trusted and practical advice.• Act as an ambassador for the Firm, participating in public speaking engagements, publishing articles, and promoting the Firm's expertise.• Mentorship and Leadership: Act as a role model within the team, ensuring that high standards of service and professionalism are consistently met. Support junior lawyers and help manage the team's overall success.

The Candidate

  • Qualified solicitor with 5 years plus PQE
  • Ideally with experience in both contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • A strong communicator with the ability to build lasting relationships with clients
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet and exceed deadlines
  • Strong academics
