Responsibilities:

As a Corporate Law Associate, you will be involved in a broad variety of matters, dealing with 100+ transactions a year, with an average value from 25m to 100m+ for multi-national client companies (public and private), SMEs, owner managed business and start-ups for example.

You can expect your caseload to include:

  • M&A, Private Equity/Venture Capital
  • Capital markets listings/IPOs
  • Public company takeovers
  • Joint ventures
  • Group restructurings.
  • Corporate advisory matters.

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging technical work and will be supported with the necessary resources for career progression. Collaboration and teamwork are key aspects of this role, as you will be working with a team of experienced lawyers.

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Between 3 and 6 years' PQE
  • Relevant corporate law experience gained with a recognised regional or London commercial firm
  • Strong technical expertise
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Commercial outlook

  • Proactive style and ability to act on your own initiative
