Paralegal / Legal Executive

LHH is delighted to be working with our client, an architectural practice, to appoint a Paralegal.

We are seeking a highly motivated Paralegal or Legal Executive to join the team, who will contribute to the identification and management of potential legal, commercial, insurance, and compliance-related risks. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with project teams to ensure legal, regulatory, and compliance standards are met across the company.

In this role, you will draft legal documents as needed, ensuring clear and concise communication as well as continuously monitoring and updating internal teams on legal changes, best practices, and compliance requirements. You will provide strategic advice to senior leadership, offering sound judgment in high-pressure situations and collaborate with project teams and internal stakeholders to review and implement new forms of contract.

We are looking for an individual with experience in a Paralegal, Legal Executive role, or Regulatory and Compliance Associate role. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 2:1 classification in LLB Honours Degree / Law Degree, or; Quantity Surveying or Project Management Degree or associated experience. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively as well as the ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment. A solid understanding of Contract Law or Project Management would be highly desirable. Familiarity with the construction industry and construction contracts is advantageous but not essential.
