Job Reference: CWS428OVERVIEWTop Tier well established specialist firm in Cardiff is looking to take on a Paralegal and/or Jr Fee Earner as a result of recent promotions and increase workload. You will be surrounded by a team of highly experienced property solicitors and will be in the perfect environment to learn and develop.Simpson Judge have a long standing relationship with this firm, and have placed several candidates here over the past 12 months. The last paralegal is now part way through their training contract. YOUR DAY TO DAYDependant on your experience, you will manage your own caseload as well as assisting in handling various residential property & Buy to let transactions, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, and transfers of equity, purchase contracts, lease agreements, and mortgage documents from initiation to completion. * Provide Paralegal support to the Solicitors and Fee Earner dealing with Residential Property and Buy to let Conveyancing matters.* Drafting, reviewing, and managing essential legal documents such as contracts, transfer deeds, mortgage agreements, lease agreements, and purchase contracts.* Conducting searches, including title searches, local authority searches, and environmental assessments, to identify potential issues affecting transactions.* Liaise with estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other relevant parties to facilitate smooth communication and progression of transactions.* Ensuring all activities adhere to legal and regulatory standards, maintaining accurate and organised records throughout the conveyancing process.* Keeping clients up to date throughout the process. * Managing post-completion activities such as filing Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and registering properties with the Land Registry.EXPERIENCE REQUIRED* At least 2 years experience working in Conveyancing. Ideally you will have handled your own caseload of Residential property files. Training and support is provided.* Ability to draft, reviewing, and manage legal documents.* Experience ordering searches.* Clear written and spoken communication. * Genuine interest to work within and develop in Property Law.* Proficient IT skills IN RETURN* 22 days holiday + bank + Christmas closure * All work equipment provided for office and home working* Hybrid working and flexibility provided.
