A Heavy Industry company is seeking a Health and Safety Supervisor to work directly on the shop floor, collaborating with both the team and management to enhance health and safety practices.
The ideal candidate should have experience as a Health and Safety advisor, supervisor, or manager, with a focus on regular auditing and inspection in a heavy industry environment.
Applicants must possess relevant certifications, including NEBOSH and ISO 45001 or equivalent.
The position requires a commitment to a contract term of 6-12 months or a permanent post.
The salary for this role is competitive and commensurate with experience, which should include several years in health and safety roles.

Health and Safety Supervisor

Heavy Industry company are looking for a Health and Safety Supervisor to work on the shop floor working with the team not only to support best practice but also working with the management team to improve all areas of health and safety policies. They are looking for a Health and Safety Advisor who is happy to get away from the desk and work on the shop floor striving for improvement.

To apply for this role, the successful Health and Safety Supervisor will need to demonstrate solid work experience in Health and Safety as an advisor, supervisor or manager level with regular auditing and inspection experience gained in heavy industry on the shop floor. The Health and Safety Advisor will also hold all relevant certificates including NEBOSH and ISO 45001 or equivalent.
