Electrical Lecturer

We are seeking an Electrical Lecturer for a college in Cardiff. This is a temporary, full-time position where you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across a range of courses and levels. The role involves setting high expectations and creating an aspirational environment for learners.

Day to Day of the Role:
  • Teach effectively on a variety of courses within the electrical field.
  • Support learners to achieve successful outcomes in their studies.
  • Participate in retention and recruitment activities as needed.
  • Contribute to an environment that encourages all learners to be aspirational.
  • Set and maintain high academic standards and expectations for learners.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Electrical related qualification.
  • Teaching qualification is desirable but not essential.
  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above.
  • DBS certificate on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Welsh language proficiency at Level 2 – 5 is desirable.
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
