Your new companyA respected organisation sitting in the public sector offers hybrid working with 1 day a week in the office - various locations across the UK.Your new roleThis is a 6 month interim assignment and you will need Counter-Fraud experience gained in the public sector, utilities or a regulator to be considered. You will be investigating and resolving compliance issues that have been picked up through our audit programme, counter fraud or operations work. You will lead a team and manage a team on high volume compliance investigations and be responsible for collating and assessing the necessary evidence, drawing on expertise from across the organisation.You will be comfortable navigating ambiguous and incomplete information, overcoming challenges to deliver at pace, and weighing up options and trade-offs to make robust decisions. You will be skilled in communicating complex issues in a clear and concise manner, including through written and verbal briefings for senior leadership, and will have experience of influencing various stakeholders to deliver their work.For further details please get in contact. What you'll need to succeedExperience of leading a team while managing a high volume of Counter Fraud investigations.Experience of developing and embedding key counter fraud processes in line with the Government Counter Fraud Functional Standard.Experience of interpreting and applying complex regulations, and processes to deliver effective investigations.Excellent written and verbal communication skills that effectively communicate complex issues to non-expert audiencesAbility to build effective relationships and successfully influence challenging external stakeholders.You will ideally have public sector or utilities or regulator experience in Counter Fraud.
