We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team for a private consultancy. In this role, you will work independently and with project teams, managing pre- and post-contract activities while ensuring quality service delivery. Your responsibilities will include budgeting, cost management, measurement and billing of quantities, and preparation of tender documents. You will also support senior management in commercial and contract administration, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Measure and bill quantities following industry standards (e.g., MMHW, CESMM, NRM)
  • Prepare cost reports, estimates, and tender documentation
  • Manage budgets, monitor progress, and handle change management
  • Conduct cost audits, processing interim payments, and supporting the tender process
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams for project delivery
  • Maintain accurate records and manage project documentation

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree (min 2.1 or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related field
  • Associate Member of RICS (preferred)
  • Experience in commercial management, contract administration, and cost reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
  • Strong understanding of contract management and procurement strategies
