We are pleased to be recruiting a Workshop Engineer for our international client in the Cardiff area.

Job Purpose

  • The primary function is to refurbish equipment to standard suitable for either sale or operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Refurbish, upgrade and service a wide variety of equipment according to manufacturer's specification
  • Duties to include diagnosing and repairing equipment faults, repairs, testing and packing equipment to ensure that they are protected in transit.
  • Maintain accurate records via worksheets. This will include serial numbers, issues / problems, solutions and replacement parts used.
  • Ensure that all equipment moves are carried out in a suitable manner to protect the equipment whilst adhering to all health and safety requirements.
  • Ensure that the housekeeping in all working areas is maintained to high standard. This includes storage and usage of various chemicals in accordance with COSHH
  • Provide engineering support when required for show set up and site installations
  • To attend all corporate events and training days

This is a days regular role, Monday to Friday offering a salary between £24000-£27000 per year DOE.
