We are looking for a Stock and Finance Assistant to join our Finance department. If you would like to be part of a forward-thinking business and have a job with excellent career prospects, we would love to hear from you.

This role is a key role in ensuring accuracy of the stock ledgers of our retail stores; you will be collating the results from retail stock checks, assisting in month end reporting around stock and provisions. This role will also provide accounting administrative assistance within the finance department.

Responsibilities / Objectives:

  1. First point of contact for branch queries regarding the stock ledger
  2. Investigate and resolve queries from branches with regard to the stock ledger and any stock related processes
  3. Update the stock ledger for manual postings, queries and with amendments for errors made by branches
  4. Preparation and analysis of stock figures for management reporting on a weekly and monthly basis
  5. Preparation and reconciliation of the results of physical stock counts to the stock ledger
  6. Collation and reporting of the results of stock counts to the Loss Prevention department and Retail team
  7. Provide any ad hoc reports requested by the Loss Prevention department
  8. Create and maintain procedure documents.
  9. Provide support to Financial Accounts team when required
  10. Any other ad hoc tasks as required
