Are you ready to take your career to the next level with a well-established, family-run business? One of our Partnership businesses based in Carlisle are recruiting for a mortgage adviser.

They have proudly served more than twenty-five thousand clients in their 35 years, building a reputation on trust, expertise, and outstanding client experiences. Now, they are looking for an experienced Mortgage and Protection Adviser to join the team and contribute continued success.

About the company and Role

As an integral part of their Mortgage and Protection Advice Team, you’ll have the flexibility to work in-office, remotely, or hybrid (with monthly visits to head office in Carlisle).

They’re seeking a highly skilled professional who can hit the ground running—someone with proven experience in a fast-paced environment and a solid working knowledge of the Mortgage Broker role, who is ready to make an impact from day one.

What You'll Be Doing

In this diverse role, you’ll have the opportunity to:

  • Convert provided leads into business, building lasting client relationships
  • Maximise conversion rates from leads to sales, delivering holistic mortgage and protection advice to secure the best outcomes for our clients
  • Actively engage in social media and marketing campaigns to support lead generation
  • Raise the companies brand awareness across wider regions through networking and outreach

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with the companies existing client base to deliver outstanding service to every client
  • Research and recommend tailored mortgage solutions to meet each client’s individual needs
  • Keep the CRM system updated and collaborate with the inner team to maximise opportunities
  • Stay active on social media and participate in marketing campaigns to raise company profile
  • Maintain compliance within guidelines set by The Openwork Partnership and the business

What You’ll Bring

  • CMAP qualified (or equivalent) with at least 2 years of mortgage brokering experience
  • A genuine interest in helping clients achieve their financial goals
  • Excellent communication skills - in-person, virtually and written
  • A networking mindset and ability to build strong relationships
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel monthly to Carlisle (if working remotely)
