Are you an experienced accountant seeking a flexible, part-time accounts role, or a full-time opportunity with a broader scope of responsibility with finance at its core? This thriving SME is looking for the RIGHT person to take charge of their Accounts department, with the potential to expand into HR, operations, and beyond!

What You'll Do:
  • Produce Monthly Accounts: Prepare monthly management accounts with detailed cost centre analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Lead a Small Finance Team: Supervise and guide a finance team of two, who coverbank reconciliation, purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control functions.
  • Collaborate with Directors: Support the leadership team on a variety of projects, including costing, pricing, and tendering for new contracts.
  • Manage Fixed Assets: Oversee the fixed asset register, including calculating depreciation.
  • Year-End Coordination: Liaise with external accountants to assist with year-end statutory accounts.
  • Payroll Management: Ensure smooth processing of payroll for 200+ employees, keeping everything compliant and efficient.
  • Software: UsingSage Accounting, so experience with this or similar accounting software is a big plus.
