My client is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focusedInsuranceClaimsHandlerto join an existing dynamic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managingyour allocation of insuranceclaimsefficiently, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

You will handle incoming calls, update clients on claim progress, and ensure all case files are maintained in accordance with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls from customers, providing professional and empathetic support.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by keeping them informed on the progress of theirclaimsand handling new instructions via phone and email.
  • Accurately log and update comprehensive claim details.
  • Upload jobs and case files to the internal systems while ensuring compliance with office procedures.
  • Plan and coordinate routes forclaimshandling nationwide.
  • Regularly update and maintain client portals to ensure real-time access to claim statuses.
  • Liaise with internal departments,insurancecompanies and loss adjustersto ensure efficient claim resolution.
  • Managed client files and contracts with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring smooth operations
  • Handle any queries or escalations professionally and in a timely manner.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Previous experience in aninsurance, customer service, orclaimshandling role is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Accurately entering data into Excel spreadsheets and ensuring data integrity through validation techniques.
  • Identified and resolved discrepancies in financial records, demonstrating a high level of accuracy
  • Organising data in a clear and logical manner, using formatting tools to enhance readability and analysis.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database management.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
Level 3 qualification or equivalent in insurance would be advantageous.

This is an office-based role working Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
