Site Manager- Carlisle:

We are currently working with a leading contractor within the Infrastructure and Energy Sector, who are currently looking for a Site Manager to work on a freelance basis.

Based in the Carlisle area.

The project is a 250m substation project.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the project effectively, often to a tight schedule
  • Drawing up a detailed plan of how to achieve each stage of the project, as well as an overall plan
  • Ensure a project team is in place and manage that team throughout the progress of the whole project
  • Ensure that each stage of the project is progressing on time and on budget and identify any issues that may prevent this from happening
  • Responsible for reporting regularly on the progress of the project to the client and/or to the senior managers
  • Managing all health and safety

What we need:

  • Relevant qualifications such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
  • National Grid Persons is a mandatory qualification needed on the job.
  • 2 Proffessional References
