- Complete all payroll input in line with the agreed timetable
- Process pay runs in line with the agreed timetable
- Calculate and input Statutory Sick Pay (SSP), Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), and Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP)
- Run monthly reports to ensure pay rates are updated in line with the National Minimum Wage (NMW)
- Process BACS recalls
- Maintain up-to-date absence record cards
- Process all monthly reports and ensure availability to the payroll team
- File all statutory reports with HMRC
- Respond to queries, ensuring all are satisfactorily resolved
- Assist with the training of new staff as required
- Assist the Payroll Manager with other ad-hoc duties as needed
