Senior Quantity Surveyor – Energy/Infrastructure – Carlisle - £45-55,000 Salary
My client are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work on a substation energy infrastructure project based in Cumbria. This is a site based role, If candidates are travelling from out of area, the client will pay lodge expenses during the week.
Duties
- Managing all costs relating to building and civil engineering projects.
- Ensuring projects are completed within the projected budget.
- Providing financial and commercial advice to the project team.
- Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Monitoring and controlling costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identifying, analysing, and developing responses to commercial risks.
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and final accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and quality standards
Candidate
? Previous experience as a QS/SQS on a major infrastructure project
? Knowledge of NEC contracts
? Previous experience working energy projects is advantageous but not essential
