JR244: Chef De PartieLocation: Carnforth, Lancaster Salary: £11.44 Per HourOverview:  First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Chef De Partie on behalf of one of our clients.  Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Preparing food
  • Ensure that all food is served at a safe and appropriate temperature using probes where necessary
  • Maintaining excellent standards
  • Assisting in the preparation and cooking
  • Assisting with menu changes
  • Cleaning down the kitchen at the end of service
  • Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene
  • Maintain sufficient stock levels of all food
  • To aid stocktaking in conjunction with the Head Chef
  • To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager
  • Assisting the manager replenishing stock ensuring comply with stock rotation requirements
  • Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
  • Ensuring that all faults and defects, equipment, tools, buildings, etc., within the remit of the bar and restaurant are reported to your line manager are reported
  • To undergo specific training as indicated by the Manager as and when required
  • Take all reasonable steps to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, patrons and visitors, by promoting safe working practices
  • Comply with company policies, rules and procedures at all times
  • Any other duties as required by your line manager commensurate with your role

  • Have a passion for food, hospitality and be a team player
  • Good communication skills
  • Be willing to learn
  • Have or willing to work towards Food Safety & Food Hygiene Certificate
