Our Client, who is a leading manufacturer of machinery, is looking for a highly organised and self-motivated Service Administrator to join their team near Carnforth, Lancashire.

Role Overview:

As a Service Administrator, you will be responsible for coordinating engineer visits, managing installation projects, and ensuring outstanding customer service. You'll handle enquiries efficiently, resolve service issues, and ensure all paperwork is completed with accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule engineer visits and manage diaries.
  • Coordinate installation projects and service work orders.
  • Handle customer enquiries via phone and email, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Maintain accurate records, including work orders, warranties, and service agreements.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve warranty issues and provide customer updates.
  • Prepare paperwork with precision, ensuring accuracy in all documentation.
  • Use dedicated software to track and monitor service progress.
  • Follow up on enquiries to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
Skills & Attributes:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a methodical approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive team player who can also work independently.
  • Previous administration experience is essential.
Salary & Benefits:
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, which increase with service.
