Management Accountant

The Recruitment Co are Delighted to be recruiting for a Management Accountant for our client based in Carnoustie.

Salary £35,000 - £45,000 Per Annum

Hours 9am -5pm Monday to Friday. Fully Office based.

The Management Accountant role is a key position within the finance team, responsible for key decisions and outcomes.

Working within a growing team this role offers an ambitious individual an opportunity to move into the role of a Management Accountant with training and mentorship from the Financial Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review of accruals and prepayments
• Preparation of Management Information (MI) for Finance Controller
• Monthly forecast meetings
• Month end reporting
• Group and Departmental Budget Creation
• Liaising with other departments regularly on budget/forecast
• Internal group reporting in accordance with the financial timetable
• Support the FC with the timely close out of the annual statutory Audit
• Supports the Finance Controller and other budget holders to analyse and innovate; increasing efficiencies and reducing time spend against internal processes where appropriate/necessary

Background and Experience:

• Qualified Accountant is highly desirable
• Good business acumen with the ability to work in a complex and multi-disciplined environment
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience of Management Accountant duties and activities
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
• Proactive, can-do approach to delivering robust information
• Good written and presentation skills
