Job Title: Band 6 Paediatric Occupational TherapistLocation: Carshalton, Surrey Contract: Full-Time, part-time also considered Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 (30-minute break)

About the Role

We are seeking a Locum Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Children's Therapies team. This role is focused on providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children with a range of needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sensory processing difficulties, and physical disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct assessments and develop individualised therapy plans for children.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions to support children’s development and daily functioning.
  • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
  • Provide guidance and training to parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child’s development.
About You
  • Qualifications: A degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc or MSc) or Diploma, and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a paediatric clinic setting is essential.
  • Specialisation: Knowledge and experience working with children with ASD, sensory processing difficulties, and physical disabilities.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
