About the RoleWe are seeking a Locum Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join the Children's Therapies team. This role is focused on providing high-quality occupational therapy services to children with a range of needs, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), sensory processing difficulties, and physical disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop individualised therapy plans for children.
- Implement therapeutic interventions to support children’s development and daily functioning.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Provide guidance and training to parents and caregivers on strategies to support their child’s development.
- Qualifications: A degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc or MSc) or Diploma, and current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience in a paediatric clinic setting is essential.
- Specialisation: Knowledge and experience working with children with ASD, sensory processing difficulties, and physical disabilities.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
