Responsibilities for the successful CNC Machinist
- Operating multiple CNC machines
- Produce components to drawing tolerance and specifications
- Utilise a variety of inspection equipment and methods to validate product
- Work within a team to achieve departmental and business objectives
- Setting, running and understanding a mull turn lathe
Knowledge & Experience required for the CNC Machinist
- Competent in setting, running and understanding a mill turn lathe
- Experience in Mazak, Fanuc operating
- Demonstrate experience within a manufacturing / precision engineering environment
Skills & Qualifications for the CNC Machinist
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work to instructions with limited supervision.
- Capable of working in a high volume, fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to read engineering drawings and specifications
- Ability to work as part of a team to achieve departmental and business objectives.
