The CNC Operator / Machinist role:
The basic duties will be setting up and operating a CNC router, maintaining quality and safety standards. Maintaining equipment and supplies and keeping records.
Reporting directly to the CNC Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring production and quality targets are met.
The ideal CNC Operator / Machinist must show previous performance and skills in the following areas.
- Beam saw experience, would be extremely advantageous,
- A CNC machine operating background is essential,
- 3 & 5 Axis CNC operation,
- Experience on an SCM router essential
- Experience working on a Biesse would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of programming, Xilog also beneficial,
- Ability to work at own initiative.
- Flexible approach to work

- Ability to follow instructions.
- Experience in woodworking (advantageous not essential)
- Excellent attitude and enthusiasm
