Search Consultancy are delighted to be working closely with a commercial business in Castleford, looking to appoint a Management Accountant. This is a great opportunity to join one of Britain's fastest growing companies.
Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for the preparation of the group consolidated management accounts. You will be supporting the business by delivering financial compliance across the corporate structure, banking and taxation. You will take responsibility for the month end reporting requirement for Group Central Overheads, and liaise with functional budget holders to review monthly transactions and updated forecasts and budgets. You will maintain balance sheet reconciliations, take full ownership of the Intercompany reconciliation process on a monthly basis and support the FC in the preparation of the quarterly updated cashflow forecasts for the group. You will also ensure that monthly central management accounts, budgets and forecasts comply with accounting standards and company policies, and are delivered in a timely manner; explaining key variances, trends and outlook.
To be considered for this role you will;
- Be Part qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Have previous experience in the preparation of management accounts (preferably consolidated accounts)
- Demonstrate business partnering ethos and be a team player
- Have excellent analytical/ IT skills
- Have excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Have the ability to use own initiative, and a problem-solving mindset.
What's on offer?
Salary £38,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience + hybrid working + excellent benefits + pension plan
